Scoláireacht an Chraoibhín do Chursaí Gaeltachta – Scholarships for Gaeltacht Courses

Soláthraíonn Coláiste Chilliain córas scoláireachtaí & lascainí do dhaltaí a fhreastalaíonn ar chúrsaí Gaeilge sa Ghaeltacht i rith an tSamhraidh. Táimid sásta go bhfuilimid in ann an scéim a chur ar fáil do dhaltaí i gColáiste Chilliain arís i mbliana. 

Má tá suim ag aon dalta cur isteach ar Scoláireacht an Chraoibhín is féidir leo foirm iarratas don scéim scoláireachta seo a fháil ón oifig nó ó Rita Ní Dhomhnalláin nó nasctha leis an bpost seo.

Chun tairbhe a bhaint as Scoláireacht an Chraoibhín caithfidh daltaí/tuismitheoirí: 

• A gcúrsa féin a chur in áirithint dóibh féin (is féidir labhairt le do mhúinteoir Gaeilge maidir le cúrsaí atá ar fáil)
•  An t-éarlais a íoc leis an gcoláiste (Ná íoc an t-iomlán)
•  Coimeád an admháil le tabhairt do Rita leis an bhfoirm iarratais
•  Foirm iarratais a líonadh agus a thabhairt do Rita roimh 6 Feabhra 2026 (cóip crua amháin, le fáil ó oifig na scoile)
•  Beidh fios ag gach iarrthóir an mhéad scoláireacht/lascaine a gheobhaidh siad (faoi lár Mhí Aibreáin) 
•  An fuíollach a íoc ansin leis an gcoláiste (lúide an scoláireacht/lascaine) 

*Tabhair faoi ndeara* Má íocann aon duine an costas iomlán le coláiste beidh orthu an scoláireacht/lascaine a fháil ar ais ón gcoláiste iad féin.

Ní ghlacfar le hiarratais dhéanacha.

Is féidir foirm iarratas a íoslódáil anseo nó cóip crua a fháil ón oifig. Má tá tuilleadh eolais ó dhalta nó ó thuismitheoir/chaomhnóir is féidir dul i dteagmháil le Rita.

Coláiste Chilliain provides a scholarship and discount scheme for students who attend Irish courses in the Gaeltacht during the Summer. We are delights to be in a position to offer this scheme again this year. If a student is interested in applying for Scoláireacht an Chraoibhín they can get n application from the office, from Rita or attached to this post.

To benefit from Scoláireacht an Chraoibhín students/parents must: 

• Book their own course (all Irish teachers have info on various courses)
• Pay the deposit (not the full amount) directly to the Gaeltacht college 
• Keep proof of booking to submit to Rita with the Scholarship application form
• Fill in the application form and return a hard copy (forms available from the school office) to Rita before 6 February 2026
• Students will be informed how much of a scholarship/discount they will receive (by the middle of April). 
• Pay the Gaeltacht college the balance of the course fee minus the scholarship/discount 

*Please note* If anyone pays the full course fee to the Gaeltacht college they will have to seek the scholarship/discount back directly from the Gaeltacht college.

Late applications will not be accepted. 

The following colleges have offered discounts to our students as well as the scholarships the school offers and have cooperated with us over the last couple of years. Scholarships are available to students who attend other Gaeltacht Summer courses (once they are located in a Gaeltacht region).

Applications can be downloaded here or a hard copy can be received at the office. If students or their parents/guardians require more information please contact Rita at the school.
