Huge congratulations to the Under 17 boys’ soccer team and Múinteoir Ben on their fantastic victory in the Leinster Final today, winning 3-0 against St Tiernans. An unbelievable performance and we are so proud of you all. They have now qualified for the Champions League – an outstanding achievement!

We are delighted to congratulate Finn Ó  Raghallaigh (Bliain 5)  on his outstanding achievement at the World Irish Dancing Championships, which were held over the Easter break  in Chicago. Competing at such a high level, Finn managed to  secure an impressive 6th place in the Under 18 Men’s competition—a remarkable accomplishment on the world stage.

We would also like to warmly congratulate his sister, Grace, on her fantastic achievement in qualifying for and participating in the World Championships.

Well done to both Finn and Grace—we are incredibly proud of your achievements and commitment.

Congratulations and best of luck to one of our 5th year students, Maitiú Ó Bruacháin, who is playing hurling in the Celtic Challenge minor competition for Kildare. Well done Maitiú and best of luck!

Coláiste Chilliain had a very successful day yesterday in terms of sport. Huge congratulations to Ben Ó Cróinín and the U17 soccer team who achieved victory against Malahide and Portmarnock ETSS Swords. We wish them every success as they now head towards the Leinster Final.

We also congratulate Lee Ó Móráin and the 53 students who took part in the cross-country races yesterday, despite that dreadful weather, and sincere congratulations to those students who managed to win a medal. A great achievement- we’re so proud of them

Tighe Mac Muiris, proudly represented Coláiste Chilliain in Belfast on Saturday, 7th March. Tighe delivered an outstanding performance to win gold in the West Leinster Schools Championships, battling through lashing rain in Phoenix Park. He continued his strong form by finishing an impressive 5th place in the Leinster Championships.Tighe then capped off a fantastic season at the National Championships, where he secured a podium finish, earning a medal in 6th place.Competing over a distance of 2.5km, Tighe recorded an excellent time of 7 minutes and 58 seconds. He was delighted to represent Coláiste Chilliain and did so with great pride.

The Transition Year students had a wonderful week skiing in Austria last week — a truly special experience that they thoroughly enjoyed.

We are so proud of our wonderful TY students who came into school today to rehearse for our upcoming Oiche ar an Árdán. 

Despite being exhausted after a week of skiing, they worked hard and demonstrated true commitment. Maith sibh a dhaltaí!

D’fhreastail roinnt daltaí ó Bhliain 2 & 3 ar Blitz Peile na nGaelcholaistí inné i Má Nuad mar chuid de Sheachtain na Gaeilge. 

Comhghairdeas le gach duine a ghlac páirt, thaispeáin siad scileanna peile den scoth,ach níos tabhachtaí bhí obair foirne, deabheasaí agus cairdeas dá chéile léirithe i rith an lae.  Mhol na múinteoirí go mór iad! Dár ndóigh bhí áthas an domhain orainn mar ghlac foireann na gcailíní agus foireann na mbuachaillí dha chorn abhaile leo. Coláiste Chilliain abú! 

Some 2nd & 3rd year students attended a football blitz between the Gaelcholáistí yesterday in Maynooth. This competition was organised as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge. 

Congratulations to everyone who took part, they showed excellent football skills but more importantly there was team work, good manners and friendship shown throughout the day! Their teachers have praised them highly! Of course, we were delighted when they arrived home as both the girls’ team and the boys’ team won their finals!
