Le linn na dtréimhsí tionól, pléitear cúrsaí folláine. Díríonn na scoláirí ar chúrsaí tréadach agus ar thopaicí faoi leith. Pléitear agus ceiliúrtar na laethanta/ seachtainí difriúla sa rang cosúil le; Lá Domhanda an Chineáltais, Lá Idirnáisiúnta Chearta an Duine, Lá Idirnáisiúnta an tSonais, Lá Domhanda Feasachta ar Uathachas, Seachtain na Gaeilge, Seachtain Feasacht ar an Inchinn, an tSeachtain um lonchuimsiú Sóisialta agus go leor eile.
The promotion of wellbeing is central to the Department of Education’s mission to enable children and young people to reach their full potential. Promoting the well-being of our children and young people is a shared responsibility in the community and it is everyone’s business. Schools play a key role in the development and improvement of young people’s wellbeing as they spend much of their time at school during their formative years.
SPHE, CSPE, Guidance, Physical Education and Wellbeing, as part of the assembly Class, are intertwined in the Wellness Program at Coláiste Chillian.
During Tutor classes, wellbeing themes are discussed. The students focus on pastoral matters and specific topics. Information is given and discussions are held about various days/weeks that are celebrated for example; World Kindness Day, International Human Rights Day, International Day of Happiness, World Autism Awareness Day, Seachtain na Gaeilge, Brain Awareness Week, Social Inclusion Week and many more.
